Giovanni Hidalgo, a renowned percussionist, has played a pivotal role in shaping the global perception of hand drumming, and has remained a loyal LP endorser throughout his entire career. Renowned for his ambidextrous prowess, faultless technical skills, and exceptional musicality, Hidalgo has developed a unique style that replicates sounds normally produced by drummers using sticks, solely using his hands.

Hidalgo's association with LP has resulted in the creation of a diverse product line, including the Palladium Congas, Compact Congas, and Galaxy Congas, as well as bongos, timbales, djembes, and accompanying bags. The patented and award-winning design of these instruments allows for easy integration with drum kits, ensuring that the sound projects as effectively as full-size bongos, and can be played with either sticks or hands.

Designed in collaboration with the renowned Master Conguero, Giovanni Hidalgo, the Palladium Congas boast a retro-inspired design, featuring unique exterior bands that harken back to the iconic Palladium dance hall. These congas are particularly well-suited for traditional seated playing, and are crafted from 32" Premium North American Ash Wood with a 3-ply shell and natural rawhide heads. The instruments are finished in a natural satin sheen with chrome hardware, and feature the Extended Collar Comfort Curve II Rims, Premium Galaxy hardware, reinforced LP Heart side plates with 3/8" diameter tuning lugs, and LP ProCare Shell Protectors, ensuring both visual appeal and superior performance.
